Lors du premier montage :
Avant d’enta-
mer votre voyage, il est conseillé tout
d’abord de procéder au montage de votre
nouveau tarp, afin de vous familiariser
avec les différentes étapes de montage.
Deux personnes sont nécessaires pour le
montage. Si vous souhaitez monter le tarp
seul, il vous faudra en plus
(1) deux pi-
quets de montage
(d’environ 200-220 cm
de longueur, disponibles dans le com-
merce spécialisé, par ex. le TELESCOPIC
POLE de JACK WOLFSKIN). Disposez le
pre-
mier piquet de façon légèrement penchée
et placez l’extrémité du haut dans la bou-
cle prévue à cet effet.
Pendant qu’une per-
sonne tient le piquet, fixez les deux
haubans à l’aide de sardines (2).
Tirez le
côté opposé de la bâche pour le
tendre et
fixez le deuxième piquet
de la même ma-
nière
(3)
. Ajustez de nouveau en veillant à
ce que la
couture principale entre les pi-
quets soit bien tendue
(ceci est une condi-
tion de base pour une bonne stabilité).
Ensuite les
haubans latéraux
peuvent être
tendus
(4).

und sich vor Antritt der ersten Reise mit
allen Aufbauschritten vertraut machen.
Für den Aufbau werden zwei Personen be-
nötigt. Wenn Sie das Tarp alleinstehend
aufbauen möchten, benötigen Sie zusätz-
lich
(1) zwei Auf stellstangen
(von ca.
200 – 220 cm Länge, im Fachhandel erhält-
lich, z. B. den JACK WOLFSKIN TELESCOPIC
POLE). Stellen Sie die
erste Stange leicht
schräg auf
und stecken Sie das obere Ende
in die dafür vorgesehene Schlaufe.
Wäh-
rend eine Person die Stange festhält, fixie-
ren Sie die beiden Abspannleinen mit
Heringen (2).
Ziehen Sie das gegenüberlie-
gende Planenende
straff und fixieren Sie
die zweite Stange
auf die gleiche Art
(3).
Justieren Sie noch einmal nach und achten
Sie darauf, dass die
Hauptnaht zwischen
den Stangen wirklich stramm gespannt
ist.
(Dies ist die Grundvoraussetzung für
einen perfekten Stand.) Anschließend wer-
den die
seitlichen Abspannleinen
ausge-
spannt
(4).

Pitching your tarp for the first time:
We
recommend you do a dry run pitching
your new tarp in order to familiarise your-
self with all the steps in the pitching pro-
cedure before embarking on your first
trip.
Assembly requires two people. If you
would like to assemble the tarp in a free-
standing configuration, you will require
two rigging poles (1)
(approx. 200 to 220
cm in length, such as the JACK WOLFSKIN
TELESCOPIC POLE). Position the first pole
at a slight angle and insert the upper end
into the corresponding loop.
While some -
one else holds the pole in place, secure
the two guylines with pegs (2). Tauten
the opposite end of the tarp and secure
the second pole
in the same manner
(3).
Make any necessary adjustments and en-
sure that the
primary seam between the
poles is sufficiently taut
for maximum
performance. Then secure the
side guy -
lines (4).
