4. Accessing the Web Interface
1.
Connect the power supply to the decoder
2.
Connect an Ethernet cable from the decoders
“LAN”
port to your network switch
3.
Connect a HDMI/VGA/CVBS cable from the decoder to a display
4.
Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.1.169 in the address field. This will prompt you to
enter the username and password. (Username: admin | Password: admin)
5.
You can now see the
decoder’s
status information, and set parameters for various settings
*Note:
If the IP scheme of your network does not match the default IP scheme of the decoder, you won’t
be able to log in to the decoder’s web interface.
At this point, you would need to change the IP of the
decoder by following these steps:
1.
Connect the decoder to a PC via Ethernet cable
2.
Assign your PC a static IP address of
“192.168.1.11”,
and a subnet mask
“255.255.255.0”.
To do
so, go to your Ethernet settings > Change adapter options > Right click on your wired ethernet
adapter > select properties > Double click
“Internet
Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4)”
> Enter the IP
address field with
“192.168.1.11”
and Subnet mask
“255.255.255.0”.
Press OK twice to save the
configuration
3.
Open a web browser and enter the decoders default IP address
“192.168.1.169”.
Type
Username: admin | Password: admin as the credentials
4.
Once in the web interface of the decoder, click on System setting > Network setting. Here, you
can modify the IP address of the decoder according to your network. Once done, you can now
plug the decoder to your modem/router/switch via Ethernet, and be able to access the web
interface from any device
that’s
on the same network
