Mount the Primary Armboard (

Initial

 and 

Initial MAX

) 

In this step, you will install 

an Armboard onto the turntable’s Primary Arm Tower

.

 

 

13.1.

 

Familiarize Yourself with the Armboard 

The  Armboard  consists  of  3  elements:  
1)  The  Connection  Pod  that  mounts 
onto  the 

Chassis’s  Tonearm  Tower

,  

2) The Arm Pod onto which you attach 
your  tonearm  (tonearm  not  supplied), 
and  
3)  The  two  Connection  Rods  that 
connect the Arm Pod to the Connection 
Pod. On the side of the Arm Pod there is 
a  Set  Screw  for  securing  a  tonearm 
Insert. 

 

Top of Armboard 

On the underside of the Armboard, note 
that  the  Connection  Pod  has  a 
protruding Mounting Insert that will fit 
into  the  top  of  the  Riser  on  the  Arm 
Tower. Also on the underside are three 
Set  Screws.  There  are  two  Screws  that 
enable the Arm Bod to move along the 
Connection Rods.
