Binding the Model
Your model is shipped ready to fly. If you find the
controls are not responding to the transmitter, it
may be necessary to bind the radio system. Use the
following to bind the radio system.
1. Turn on the transmitter
2. Install the flight battery and connect the plug
3. Press and hold the Up elevator trim, then press the
Right rudder trim. The transmitter will emit a series
of beeps to indicate it’s entered the binding mode.
4. The plane will indicate that it is bound by moving the
controls.
5. Check that the control surfaces are moving in the
correct direction
Control Throw
Make sure the controls for your model operate
correctly.
Rudder Control
Moving the right stick to the right will make the rudder
go right. In flight this will make the model turn to the
right. Moving the stick to the left will make the rudder
go left. In flight this will make the model turn to the left.
Throttle and Height Control
Moving the throttle stick to the top of the transmitter
will operate the motor. The throttle is proportional, so
as you move the throttle stick up, the speed of the
motor will increase, which increases the flying speed
and height of the model. We recommend flying at
1/4 to 2/3 throttle for your first flight to learn the flying
characteristics of your model.

Antenna position/orientation
The RF output signals transmit best/strongest from the shaft of the antenna rather than from the tip. As
a result you should never point the tip of the antenna directly at the model. Also, the transmitter antenna
can be rotated and folded up to 90° so be sure to hold the transmitter and position the antenna as
needed to ensure the best possible signal transmission.
