SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Use
IMPORTANT: THIS PRODUCT REACHES HIGH TEMPERATURES
1. Remove all packing before first use.
2. DO NOT plug in until ready to use.
3. Ensure hair is completely dry and tangle free before use.
4. Plug into a suitable main supply when the straightener is ready for use. There is no
need to preheat the straightener.
5. Always place straightener on a solid, flat heat resistant surface.
6. At the inner part of the Handle (1) there is the Temperature Control Button (3). Keep
pushing it until you reach the desired temperature, which you can see on the Display for
temperature setting (4).
7. The device will soon reach the chosen temperature.
6. Turn the straightener on, to the desired heat setting. The straightener will be ready to use
within a few seconds.
7. Separate a section of hair approximately 5cm in width and smooth it out with a brush.
8. Place the chosen section of hair between the plates of the straightener and close the plates.
Take care not to touch the very hot plates.
9. Hold in place for a few seconds until the hair is heated - this will be almost instant - and pull
through hair from the root to the tips, maintaining some tension.
10. Repeat the process until the desired hairstyle is achieved. When holding the straightener
always ensure fingertips are placed away from the hot plates.
11. In order to switch the device off, after the usage, press the ON/OFF button (3) at
the inner part of the Handle (1) until the indication on the Display for temperature setting (4)
switches off completely.
12. For even better results, wash, dry and comb your hair as usual leaving them lightly damp.
Hair Straightener is suitable for creating your favourite hair style any time during the day.
CAUTION!
• This straightener reaches very high temperatures. Do not leave on your hair for more than a
few seconds as this may damage your hair.
• Never allow plates to come into contact with skin.
• Never cover the unit with anything, such as a towel.
• Never place on a surface that isn’t heat resistant and always position out of reach of children.
• Do not immerse any part of the unit, cord set or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Switch off and allow to cool full, away from children on a heat resistant surface before
cleaning and storage.
Hints and Tips
• Hair should be completely dry to achieve best results.
• Keep the strands of hair smooth whilst you work, to avoid ridges halfway down.
• Set the straightener to 150
° C for fine hair.
• Set the straightener to 170 ° C for normal hair and everyday use.
• Set the straightener to 190 ° C for salon professional results.
• Set the straightener to 210 ° C for thick and difficult hair.
