Basic Operation
Powering ON/OFF
When you first connect the unit to the mains socket the unit will enter Standby mode.
• Press the STANDBY button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit on.
• Press the STANDBY button to switch the unit back to Standby mode.
Selecting Modes
Press the iPod/CD, TUNER and USB/SD/AUX button to switch modes.
Adjusting the Volume
Press the /– button to increase / decrease the volume.
Clock Setting
When the unit is powered up for the first time, it will be in standby mode, the display will
show “AM 12:00” and flash. You can now perform the clock setting.
1. To set the clock, ensure the unit is in standby, then
press and hold the CLOCK/DISPLAY button until the
display shows “12 HR”. Press the or button to
select the “12 HR” (12-Hour) or “24 HR” (24-Hour) clock
display format. When your desired format appears
in the display, press the CLOCK/DISPLAY button to
confirm.
2. The display will show the clock with the hour digits
flashing. Repeatedly press the or button to
set to the correct hour followed by pressing the
CLOCK/DISPLAY button to confirm. First set the
hour then the minute.
3. When the display shows the correct time, press the
CLOCK/DISPLAY button again to confirm. The clock
setting is now complete.
4. The clock is displayed while the unit is in standby. To
see the clock during unit operation, repeatedly press
the CLOCK/DISPLAY button until the display shows
the clock. The time will be displayed for 5 seconds.
