Dear customer,
Thank you very much for the trust you have placed in us. You have bought one of the most high-quality, effective and reliable
diving / outdoor lamps in its class. Please read these instructions for use carefully to familiarize yourself with the lamp prior to
putting it into operation.
Attention! Important Safety Information!!
•
Before travelling by air, please inform yourself at the respective airport, under which conditions you may carry
your diving lamps with you.
•
This product is no toy and must not be used by children!
Please ensure childproof operation and storage of the
lamp at any time.
•
The use of the product under unfavourable environmental conditions must be avoided under all circumstances.
Unfavourable environmental conditions include: ambient temperatures over 50° C, combustible gases, solvents, vapours,
dust.
•
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be switched off immediately and
secured against unintentional operation. Safe operation can no longer be assumed if the device is not functioning, has
visible damage, has been damaged in transport, or after storage under unfavourable conditions.
•
Never open the housing of the lamp while it is in operation, as very high voltages are generated.
•
Never touch the glass while the lamp is in operation, as it may become very hot.
•
Never aim the beam of light directly against the face of people or animals, as this may cause serious eye injury.
•
Never aim the beam of the lamp directly against the face of other persons or animals.
•
Never leave the lamp standing upright, as the developing heat may damage the lens.
•
Use the supplied protection cover to avoid an unintended switch-on of the lamp.
•
Make sure to close your lamp and the charging socket very tightly after opening to avoid the ingress of water into the
housing.
•
Use only original charging units and power adapters of the manufacturer for charging the rechargeable battery. Always
strictly observe the instructions. No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with instructions or
notes of the manufacturer.
•
Do not switch the lamp off/on repeatedly, as you may damage both the HID illuminant and the ballast. The operating time
should not be less than 5 minutes, as otherwise the life span of the lamp will be shortened.
•
Consider that the illuminant can flicker for approx. 30 seconds after switching on the lamp. The light may also flicker
occasionally in normal operation.
•
Service and repairs (replacement of illuminant and rechargeable battery) may only be carried out by authorized and
qualified personnel.
Safety instructions for the dive!
•
Check the lamp before every dive!
•
Before every dive ensure that the diving lamp is fully charged. The lamp can be recharged at any time, regardless of
the residual capacity. The green display of the charging unit lights up when the rechargeable battery is full.
•
Secure the lamp against loss by attaching the carrying cord to the loop of the diving grip, as it would sink in water. In
case of losing the lamp, do not dive after it!
•
Make sure that the O-rings of the locking screw are not porous or damaged and are seated firmly. Replace the O-
rings in time. You can also easily grease the O-rings with vaseline.
•
Ensure that the locking screw of the charging socket is tightened.
•
To ensure safety always carry a second diving lamp with you.
•
Clean the lamp after every dive and rinse it thoroughly with fresh water. Then dry the lamp well.
