THE INTERFACE DISPLAY
The panel consists of a display and 4 keys:
0/1 :
to ignite and shutdown the stove
Menù:
to access the menu
+/- to increase / deincrease the various settings
FUNCTIONS
Before igniting the stove.
1st Ignition: contact the DEALER, for the stove to be calibrated according to the type of pellets used and conditions it is used in.
A slight smell of paint may be noticed during the first few times it is ignited, however, this only lasts a short while.
Before igniting the stove you must verify:
• that the stove has been installed correctly (refer to pgs. 17-18);
• the electrical power supply;
• that the door is closed;
• that the combustion chamber is clean;
• that the display is on standby (the power or temperature flashes).
You can then press the ON/OFF key for at least 2 seconds and the stove will automatically drop pellets to start the combustion
process and ‘Start’ will appear on the display with a countdown in seconds (1020). There is no preset time for the ignition
process: it can take less than 17 minutes if the smoke temperature is reached before.
LOADING THE FEED SCREW.
To re-fill the pellet storage hopper when it is empty press the + and – keys simultaneously.
If the stove has shutdown because the pellets have finished, the pellet storage hopper must be refilled before igniting the stove.
It is normal for some pellets to remain in the hopper, which the feed screw is unable to pick up.
IGNITING THE STOVE
Automatic ignition
With the stove on standby, press the 0/1 key for 2 seconds for the ignition process to start. ‘Start’ will appear on the display for
17 minutes (there is no preset time for the ignition process: this will be automatically shortened if the control board detects that
certain tests have been carried out positively). The flame appears after about 5 minutes.
Manual ignition
At a temperature lower than 3° C – too low for the electrical resistance to become red-hot – or if the resistance is temporarily
not working, you can use a firelighter to ignite the stove.
Place a well-lit firelighter into the combustion chamber, close the door and press the 0/1 key on the synoptic panel or the
remote control.
FUNCTION MODE
Manual mode
With the stove on, press the ‘Menu’ key to enable the manual mode and the ventilation will be enabled accordingly (the power
can be adjusted from P1 to P3 with the + and - keys).
Adjusting the ventilation
With the stove on, press the ‘Menu’ key again to adjust the ventilation with the + and – keys (9 levels, split three by three and
associated with the power levels).
The ventilation can only be adjusted when in manual mode.
Automatic mode
Press the ‘Menu’ key again to switch to automatic mode (the temperature ranges from 5° to 35° C and can be adjusted with the
+ and - keys). You must set the desired room temperature and the stove adjusts the power to reach (P3) or maintain (P1) the
desired temperature.
If the temperature is set lower than that of the room, the stove will operate at P1, utilising the relevant amount of pellets (0,7 Kg/h).
Switching the stove off
With the stove on, press the 0/1 key for 2 seconds to start the shutdown process. A countdown from 60 to 0 will appear on the
display and it will last 10 minutes.
During the shutdown process:
• pellet loading ceases
• ventilation increases to maximum
• the smoke extraction motor increases to maximum
Never unplug the stove during the shutdown process.
You will help keep the stove clean by moving the cleaning rods that scrape the smoke pipe during the shutdown process.
