TROUBLE SHOOTING

PROBLEM

CAUSE AND/OR REMEDY

MACHINE DOES NOT TURN ON, LINE LED IS OFF

Check whether or not there is voltage on the line and whether or
not the F1 (16A) and F4 (2A) fuses are intact.

THE TUNNEL TRANSPORT BELT DOES NOT MOVE AND THE
FAN DOES NOT TURN

Make sure that the F3 (2A) fuse is intact, that the emergency stop
pushbutton hasn’t been activated and that the TE1 thermal
protection hasn’t kicked in.

THE AUTOMATIC CYCLE DOES NOT CUT IN

The TE2 thermal protection might have kicked in. Make sure that
the sealing frame protection devices are in place and correctly
activate all of the microswitches.

THE SEALING FRAME CLOSES WHEN THE PEDAL
CONTROL IS ACTIVATED BUT THE CYCLE DOES NOT START

The magnetic microswitch is not activated because it is not close
enough to the control magnet.

THE SEALING FRAME CLOSES, THE PROTECTIONS TOUCH
THE RUBBER AND IT REOPENS

A microswitch of the sealing frame protection devices is tripped
before the magnetic microswitch was activated.
Adjust the microswitch moving it a little closer to the magnet.

AFTER THE PEDAL ACTIVATED CYCLE THE PACKAGING
SURFACE TRANSPORT BELT DOES NOT MOVE

The TE2 thermal protection might have kicked in.

THE SEALING FRAME CLOSES, THE CYCLE IS CARRIED
OUT REGULARLY, THE FILM IS SEALED BUT NOT CUT

Insufficient compressed air pressure.
Sealing time too short for the type of film used.
Sealing blade dirty.

THE SEALING FRAME CLOSES OR OPENS TOO QUICKLY
OR TOO SLOWLY

Use the flow regulator located up high on the pneumatic cylinder
to adjust the sealing frame opening speed value and use the one
located down below to adjust the closing speed value.

THE TUNNEL WORKS REGULARLY BUT DOES NOT REACH
THE SET TEMPERATURE VALUE

One or more resistors defective.

THE TUNNEL REACHES THE SET TEMPERATURE VALUE
BUT THE FILM DOES NOT RETRACT WELL OR RETRACTS
INCOMPLETELY

Tunnel temperature too low for the type of film used.
Perforator needles do not sufficiently perforate the film.

THE SEALING BLADE EMITS SMOKE

Sealing time too high.

THE FILM TENDS TO STICK TO THE SEALING BLADE

Cooling time too long.

THE SEALING IS NOT CENTRED WITH RESPECT TO THE
HEIGHT OF THE PRODUCT

Adjust the height of the packaging surface.
