Testing Thermal Switches

The Site Model Venus’s include a switch test facility which is used in conjunction with the

supplied Cal Notepad Software. See Cal Note Pad manual or instructions on how to use this.

15.4

Procedure for the reversal of the polarity for the Switch Contact

feature

1.

Enter Configuration level on the temperature Indicator as described in INDICATOR
OPERATION

2.

Press the PAGE button to enter IO-1

3.

Press the Scroll button to enter I.SENSE

4.

Use the up/down button to toggle between nor or inv

5.

Exit this level by pressing PAGE and SCROLL together and selecting either LEVEL 1 or
LEVEL 2 and the polarity will have changed.
