The photos do not reproduce interesting subjects
1. Check the sensitivity setting for the PIR sensor. In warm environments select
"High" and in cold environments select "Low" sensitivity.
2. Aim the camera so that no heat source is present in the field of view of the
camera.
3. Install the camera on stable structures to minimize oscillations, eg large trees.
4. Remove any objects that are directly in front of the camera lens.
5. At night, the motion sensor could detect movements beyond the usable range
of the Infrared illuminator. Reduce the sensitivity of the PIR presence sensor.
6. The condition of solar radiation at sunrise or sunset (low sun position) could
activate the sensor. The camera must be repositioned.
7. The fast movement of the subject on the scene, could cause the shooting of
photos without interest, because the subject has passed and quickly left the
scene itself. Reposition the camera away from it.
The camera stops taking pictures or doesn't shoot at all
1. Check that the SD card is not full. If the available space is exhausted, the room
stops recording. In this case, it is possible to activate the overwrite function
(Cyclic Record).
2. Check the remaining state of the batteries.
3. Check that the power switch of the camera is on "On".
4. Format the SD card with the camera before use.
The range of IR LEDs does not meet expectations
1. Check the state of charge of the batteries; only a high charge level can
guarantee a satisfactory irradiation.
2. We recommend the use of lithium batteries. These can provide a higher
amperage than that provided by Alkaline, to constantly feed the illuminator at
night;
3. To ensure the accuracy and quality of the night image, please install the
camera in a dark environment without obvious light sources;
4. Do not point the camera in the open field: the absence of objects and
structures that can reflect the light emitted by the LEDs will produce a poor
image. It is as if we aimed a torch towards the night sky: we would not see
anything because the light would disperse
