STRING MODIFICATION
Press the ESC button until "Cancel Y/N" appears.
At this point, press Y if you wish to enter a new phrase to be displayed or press N if you wish to change or add
characters to an already saved phrase.
Please Note: During programming, the display will always show the last 16 characters before the cursor from the
previous phrase. If the display shows less than 16 characters, that means that there is a function code present that is
not shown on the display.
ENTERING A CHARACTER
Entering a character is done just like on a normal video terminal keyboard.
To insert an upper case letter, press and hold SHIFT or press CAPSLOCK, which must the be pressed again if you wish
to type in lower case.
ENTERING BOLD CHARACTERS
To type in a bold string, press the F7 key and type in the string you wish in bold, then disable by pressing F8.
CHANGE COLOUR
To change the colour of a character, use the F1 (Green), F2 (Orange) and F3 (Red) buttons.
STOP SCROLLING
Pressing the F4 button selects where to enter the scrolling STOP (for about 2 seconds). The display will stop for the
next 16 characters except for the function characters.
BLINK and STOP BLINK
Pressing the F5 button enables fl ashing for the characters that are then entered.
The F6 button enables the fl ashing function.
SAVING THE STRING
By pressing the ENTER 8 button, the string entered is saved in the memory, replacing the one previously saved.
After saving, wait for the string to be displayed at least once on the display. This will allow you to synchronise the
function screen with the string displayed.
Please Note: Before saving, if functions like BOLD or BLINK are active, they must be disabled, otherwise the
functions will be reported at the beginning of the phrase.
The LED bar allows you to display a scrolling
text in three colours on a single line with 16
characters. There is also a keypad that allows you
to change or modify the phrase to be displayed.
