XEBEX TREADMILL 

CONSOLE PROGRAMS

Heart Rate Programs allow the user the ability to target 

a specific heart rate zone o maximize cardiovascular 
training.

6. Heart Rate Programs

Start: Press the HEART RATE PROGRAMS key to 
launch.

Configure: After selecting the program, the user will be 

required to input an age value. Use the  
UP/DOWN keys to enter user age and press ENTER to 

confirm. Next the user will be required to enter a target 

heart rate value and can choose between 65%, 75%, 
85% or a custom value by using the  UP/DOWN keys. 
Lastly, the user will be asked to input a length of time for 
the workout. Use the  UP/DOWN keys to select a value 

and press ENTER to confirm.  

 
Run: The display will give instructions to either speed up 
or slow down depending on the user’s heart rate and the 

specified target range entered.   

 

Finish: The program will continue to run until the end of 
the program time. To end the program at any time, press 
the STOP key. Summary metrics in END mode will be 
displayed. 

7. Event / Competition Mode

Configure: Hold the UP and DOWN keys simultaneously 

for 3 seconds to enter EVENT/COMP setup mode. 
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select either calories, time 
or distance as the target measure. Press ENTER to 

confirm. Use the UP/DOWN keys to specify a numeric 
target value and press ENTER to confirm.

 

Start: Hold the ENTER key for 5 seconds until the 
console displays “EVENT PRESS START.” Press START 
key to begin program. 

Run: The display will track the progress of user toward 
the goal entered. 

Finish: The program will continue to run until the end 
of the program. To end the program at any time, press 
the STOP key. Summary metrics in END mode will be 
displayed.

Exit: To exit event mode, press the UP/DOWN keys to 
exit Event Mode 

Allows a trainer or the user to pre-set a workout with 
a caloric, time, or distance goal value. This program is 
similar to the Target Programs, except that when the 
console is in EVENT mode, all other program functions 
are locked. This ensures identical program settings which 
is useful in classroom settings or during head-to head 
competitions.
