ASSEMBLING
UN-BOXING
Open the top of the box. Remove top layer of foam.
Lift the iQ228CYCLONE saw out of the box and place
on a flat horizontal and stable surface (preferably a
workbench) to prevent the equipment from tipping or
sliding during assembly.
INSTALLING CUTTING WHEEL
Remove out the 7” Dry Cutting Combo Blade and Blade/
Dust Guard from the box
Lift the dust tray latch and pull the dust tray out.
Lay the iQ228CYCLONE one the side with Support Foot.
Reach inside to remove blade shaft nut and outside
flange washer with the Metal Blade Wrench, and fit the
cutting wheel onto Q-Drive Arbor.

Note the Q-Drive shaped blade shaft. Make sure the
blade sits on the Q drive properly. The iQ228CYCLONE
must be used with the specially designed 7” dry cutting
blade with Q-Drive Arbor hole.
Keep pressing down the gear lock tab and use the Metal
Blade Wrench to tighten the shaft nut.
Slide the dust tray back into the saw, make sure the
tray is pushed all the way in. Engage the latch to lock
the tray.
