This chapter explains how to install and use your modem. You’ll find
instructions that explain how to:

Connect the AC/DC power adapter.

Place the modem in an area that provides the best radio signal.

Connect the computer interface cable.

Install the modem in either the desktop or wall arrangement using
the provided cradle and mounting hardware.

Install the contents of the CD on your computer. As part of the
installation, you’ll also register your modem on the IPW web site.
The installation process will automatically select IPWireless as your
Internet service provider and also select the Bronze service plan.

Use the IPW software and modem to connect to the Internet.
To Connect the AC/DC Power Adapter

Plug the AC/DC power adapter in the power jack on the back of the
modem as shown in the following figure.
