Special instructions and the corresponding button are:
PAUSE
will insert a momentary pause in the dialing.
FLASH
as the 1st digit will activate dial tone detect.
FLASH
not as the 1st digit will generate a flash on the outside line.
MSG as the 1st digit sends remaining digits in ISDN Keypad Facility
messages.
‘*’ as the 1st digit disables display of the stored number.
‘*’ not as the 1st digit will send remaining digits as DTMF; converting
Dial Pulses to the appropriate tones. Available on outside lines
configured with Pulse dialing only.
When entering a
Speed Dial
, a 16-character name may be associated with
the number for the Dial by Name directory. Refer to “9.2.1.1Station Name
Program” for details on entering your name in the directory.
To place a call using Station Speed Dial:
Press the SPEED button.
Dial the desired Station Speed Dial bin number,
Or
Press the DIR button.
Choose 1 for Private Directory.
Select from the list, or Dial by Name.
To enter a Station Speed Dial number with outside Line and Name:
Press the TRANSFER(PGM) button
Press the SPEED button.
Dial the desired Station Speed Dial number.
Select or dial the outside line or group number.
Dial the telephone number to be stored.
Press the HOLD(SAVE) button, or OK button.
Enter a name up to 20 characters, if desired. For details on character
entries, see “1.7 Entering Text”.
Press the HOLD(SAVE) button, or OK button.
