Select
a convenient location on the side of the fixture or channel compartment so that the
TBTS
can be seen after final installation.
Allow for proper clearance and drill or punch a ½
″
hole. Remove the nut from the
TBTS
. Push the
TBTS
housing into the ½
″
hole and secure with the nut.
Attach the appropriate labels adjacent to the
TBTS.
Annotate Replacement Label with identical manufacturer
part number(s). The Caution and the Replacement labels must be on the fixture in a readily visible location to
anyone attempting to service the fixture.
Do not mate the ILB-CP-HE-SD-XB Unit Connector at this time.
When the installation is complete, switch the A.C. power on and join the
ILB-CP-HE-SD-XB
unit connector
Firmly insert the input power leads into the proper
Orange Push-In Connector ports: Unswitched AC Line
to ORG/BLK, Switched AC line to BLACK, and AC
Neutral to WHITE.
Push-in leads should be stripped to 9mm ± 0.5 mm.
The Push-In Connector is specified for single
use.
Removal of the leads after insertion can result
in damage to the connector and product failure. For
replacement push-in connectors, contact Customer
Service.
The
ILB-CP-HE-SD-XB
and Normal AC Driver
MUST
be on
the same branch circuit.
The
ILB-CP-HE-SD-XB
requires an
unswitched
A.C. power source of 120 to 277 VAC, 50/60Hz for maintaining the
emergency battery in a state of readiness regardless of local switch position; therefore when used with switched fixtures,
the
ILB-CP-HE-SD-XB
unswitched AC input must be wired ahead of the switch.

Firmly connect the TBTS wires into the proper inputs of the
White Push-In Connector
- The WHITE TBTS wire to the
WHT/RED wire and the RED TBTS wire to the RED/BLK wire on White Push-In Connector.
