Installation may be done whether your computer is
powered-on or off.
1)
Connect the A-B cable (included in this package) to
the Upstream port on the MiniHub, then connect the
other end of the cable to an open USB port on your
PC or additional USB hub.
Note: The MiniHub Lite has a built-in A-B cable. Simply
connect the MiniHub Lite directly to your computer, then
connect your peripherals to the two downstream ports.
2)
Connect your USB peripherals to the Downstream
ports on the MiniHub.
Self-Powering the Hub:
Self-Powering is necessary for G-UH124x users and
is optional for G-UH7144 users. If you'd like to run
the hub in self-powered mode, connect the DC
power adapter into the power jack on the MiniHub,
then plug the power adapter into your wall outlet.
