1.3 Intended use:
This device is a spotlight that can be used to create decorative lighting effects. The "IP PAR1818" is specially
designed for outdoor use, thanks to its stable and weatherproof die-cast aluminum housing. This device is
intended for professional use and is not suitable for indoor lighting in households. This product is only approved for
connection to 100-240 VAC / 50/60 Hz AC voltage. When choosing the installation location, make sure that the
device is not exposed to excessive heat. Make sure that there are no cables around. You endanger your own and
the safety of others! The ambient temperature must be between -5 ° C and + 45 ° C. Keep the device away from
direct sunlight and radiators. Do not operate the device until you have familiarized yourself with its functions. Do
not allow the device to be operated by persons who are unfamiliar with the device. Please note that unauthorized
modifications to the device are prohibited for safety reasons. Using the unit differently than described in this
manual may damage the product and void the warranty. In addition, any other use with hazards, such. As short

Part 2: Installation:

required experience is not limited to this. Under no circumstances should you attempt to perform the installation
yourself if you do not have the necessary qualifications. Instead, hire a professional installer. Improper installation
can result in injury and / or property damage.
IMPORTANT! This device is not intended for underwater operation!
Only use original cables for both mains supply and signal cabling. Make sure that the screw connections of the
cable connectors are intact and always tightly closed and that there are no foreign objects such as dust or dirt on
the threads.
IMPORTANT! When operating a single outdoor spotlight, the POWER OUT cables and DMX OUT cables must be
firmly closed with the end caps. The same applies to outdoor spotlights that are located at the end of a spotlight
chain
