Troubleshooting
If you experience problems with the unit or its installation, read the relevant sections of this User Manual and this
Trouble Shooting section carefully.
1. No display on the front panel and the unit does not switch on
Check the main power cable and make sure it is plugged into a suitable power outlet •
Check if the power switch on the rear panel of the unit is in the ON position. •
Connect the power cable to a different power outlet. •
2. No picture on TV screen
Make sure that the product is powered on and in operation mode. •
Make sure that the AV cable is firmly connected to the TV and the receiver. •
Make sure that the satellite antenna cable is properly connected to the product. •
Check if your TV set supports the video resolution. Use the V-Format key to change the output •
resolution.
Check if the channel is currently on air (some channels do not broadcast at all times during the day). •
You can contact the broadcaster to ensure that the channel is on air.
3. Poor picture/sound quality
Ensure that the satellite dish antenna is installed in an obstacle-free space. •
Ensure there is no interfering device (i.e. mobile phone or microwave oven) near the unit. •
Adjust the antenna direction to obtain a better satellite signal. •
Contact a professional installer. •
4. No or poor sound
Check if your antenna cable is connected correctly. •
Check the volume levels of your TV set and the product. •
Check whether the unit or TV is on mute. •
Check the audio type or soundtrack option in the AV menu. •
5. Remote control does not operate
To control the unit, the top end of the remote control should point directly towards the front panel of •
the unit.
Remove and reinsert the batteries in the remote control. •
Replace the batteries in the remote control with new ones. •
6. Channel search does not work
Make sure that the antenna is connected correctly. •
7. No or bad signal
Check if the satellite dish antenna is pointing to the correct direction. •
Check the cable from the dish. •
If you cannot resolve the problem, you may need to have your dish and installation tested by a professional.
8. The audio is not available
Press the AUDIO button to check if the channel has audio in the language you require. •
