Freshness instructions
When the slide for air humidity is closed, fresh vegetables and fruit can be stored
for a longer period of time.
If the vegetable drawer is completely full, the slide for air humidity at the front of
the vegetable drawer must be opened.
In this way you regulate the air and the air humidity in the vegetable drawer, so that
the storage time is increased.
If you see condensation on the glass plate above the vegetable drawer, you must
open the slide for air humidity.

LARDER SECTION
The larder section is used for storing fresh food that must be stored for a few days.
• Do not place food against the rear wall of the larder section. Maintain sufficient space between the different
foods to allow the air to circulate properly.
• Do not place hot food in the larder.
• You should never place hazardous, highly flammable or explosive substances such as alcohol, acetone or petrol in the
larder, because there will be a hazard of explosion.
• Always store food in closed containers or packagings. In order to prevent humidity and ice formation, you should never
store opened containers in the larder.
• Package meat and fish to prevent nasty smells and place them on the glass plate above the vegetable drawer, the air will
be cooler there.
• Vegetables and fruit can be stored in the drawers without packaging.
• Try not to open the door too often and do not leave the door open for any longer than necessary.
cleaning and maintenance
6
Before cleaning the larder, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket.
Clean the inside of the larder. Use warm soapy water with, for instance, washing-up liquid, all-purpose cleaner or soda in
order to prevent nasty smells. Wipe the inside of the larder after cleaning with clean water and properly wipe everything dry.
Leave the appliance to dry for 1 to 2 hours. The shelves, drawers and door racks can be removed from the larder easily and
washed by hand. These components may never be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Clean the outside of the larder and the door rubbers with a soft damp cloth.
Clean the rear of the larder at least one per year with a vacuum cleaner, so that the condenser and ventilation holes remain
clean and the larder is able to function as optimal as possible.
DEFROSTING THE LARDER SECTION
Defrosting the larder section takes place fully automatically. The presence of water drops on the rear wall on the inside of
the larder indicates that the larder section is busy defrosting. The defrost water runs via the drain gutter to the receptacle in
which it will evaporate. The defrost water gutter must be cleaned regularly. Make sure the hole does not get blocked up. The
defrost water gutter will start to overflow and defrost water will end up in the refrigerator.
