21.2 HARDWARE WATCHDOG 

AST2300 integrates one set of 32-bit programmable Watchdog Timer to prevent system 

deadlock. Watchdog Timer, when being enabled, must be repeatedly re-started by firmware code 

before time-out, otherwise Watchdog timer will generate reset signal to reset BMC. 

 

21.3 MANAGEMENT PORT OPTION 

This project supports Dedicated NIC and Shared NIC capability. Management port works both 

Dedicated NIC (default) and Shared NIC. The BMC supports management port option.
