1 Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of a Generation 6 Outdoor Payment Terminal (G6 OPT). This
product is the result of years of development and experience crafting terminal products for the
retail petroleum industry and represents the state of the art in equipment for your customers.
When properly installed and maintained your terminal will provide many years of service. There
are few moving parts and minimal connections, and all parts have been designed to give a good
service life.
Please read this guide thoroughly before starting installation.

The G6 OPT is intended for use on fuel station forecourts, but is also suitable for mounting into
any appropriate, physically secure cabinet.
This guide deals primarily with the requirements for mounting into a fuel pump-head, however the
steps are applicable to any cabinet. Specific steps and precautions for pump head installation are
highlighted.
Serveral variants of the G6 OPT are available. All variants share the same electronics. External
colors may vary. Barcode and printer are options. Compliance testing is undertaken with all
options fitted.
