10 Legrests

10.1 Pivot Plus legrests

10.1.1 Swing away Pivot Plus legrests

The Pivot Plus legrests use a user friendly lever handle
that locks and unlocks the legrest, allowing the legrest pin
to pivot/rotate about the legrest receiver.

Fig. 10-1

Place the lever handle

in the unlocked position.

Fig. 10-2

Swivel the legrest outward.

10.1.2 Removing Pivot Plus Legrests

When necessary, the Pivot Plus legrests may also be
completely removed from the power wheelchair.

Removing

Powered Pivot Plus only: Disconnect actuator.

Place lever handle

in unlocked position.

Lift entire legrest assembly upward.

Reinstalling

Insert legrest pin inside legrest receiver.

Return lever handle to locked position.

Powered Pivot Plus only: Connect actuator.
Make sure plug engages with audible click.

10.1.3 Adjusting angle of Pivot Plus legrests

The angle of the Pivot Plus legrest is adjusted by manually
elevating or lowering it.

Elevating Pivot Plus legrest

Pull legrest upward to desired angle.
