Connecting the Hose
CAUTION
Ensure that the hose connecting the control unit to the mattress is routed such that
it cannot be stepped on, kinked, squeezed or otherwise damaged.
NOTE:
For
this
procedure,
refer
to
FIGURE 2.3.
1. Locate
the
hose
at
the
foot
end
of
the
mattress.
2. Locate
the
control
unit
connector
on
the
right
side
of
the
control
unit.
3. Perform
one
of
the
following:
• MA90Z
‐
Perform
the
following
steps
(Detail
“A”):
i. Squeeze
and
hold
the
tabs
on
the
hose
connectors.
ii. Insert
the
hose
connectors
into
the
control
unit
connector.
iii. Push
the
hose
connectors
onto
the
control
connector
until
an
audible
click
is
heard.
NOTE:
The
audible
click
indicates
that
the
hose
connector(s)
are
properly
engaged
with
the
control
connectors.

‐
Perform
the
following
steps
(Detail
“B”):
i. Lift
and
hold
the
connector
cover
up
.
ii. Push
the
hose
connector
onto
the
control
connector
.
iii. Ensure
the
hose
connector
is
flush
with
the
control
unit
connector.
