Installing/Adjusting Optional Clamp on Raised Footrest

NOTE:

Installing

1. Install

 

the

 

two

 

half

 

clamps

 

onto

 

either

 

side

 

of

 

the

 

wheelchair

 

frame

 

approximately

 

2

inches

 

above

 

existing

 

footrest

 

with

 

two

 

provided

 

allen

 

screws.

2. Repeat

 

for

 

the

 

opposite

 

side

 

of

 

the

 

wheelchair.

3. Slide

 

the

 

clamp

 

on

 

raised

 

footrest

 

into

 

the

 

half

 

clamps

 

to

 

the

 

desired

 

height.

4. Securely

 

tighten

 

the

 

four

 

allen

 

screws.

Adjusting

1. Loosen

 

the

 

four

 

allen

 

screws.

2. Adjust

 

clamp

 

on

 

raised

 

footrest

 

to

 

the

 

desired

 

height.

3. Securely

 

tighten

 

the

 

four

 

allen

 

screws.

Replacing the Footrest

1. Loosen,

 

but

 

DO

 

NOT

 

remove,

 

the

 

allen

 

screw

 

of

 

the

 

two

 

clamps

 

that

 

secure

 

the

 

footrest

 

to

 

the

 

wheelchair

 

frame.

2. Slide

 

the

 

existing

 

footrest

 

tubes

 

out

 

of

 

the

 

wheelchair

 

frame

 

and

 

install

 

new

 

footrest

 

by

 

reversing

 

this

 

step.

3. Position

 

the

 

new

 

footrest

 

to

 

a

 

determined

 

height.

4. Tighten

 

the

 

allen

 

screw

 

of

 

the

 

two

 

clamps

 

that

 

secure

 

the

 

footrest

 

to

 

the

 

wheelchair

 

frame.

5. Adjust

 

the

 

footplate

 

to

 

the

 

desired

 

position.
