CT60 Rugged Tablet PC User’s Guide

Tips for Proper Use and Care

The CT60 is a hardened field computer, but it is an electronic
device and reasonable precautions should be taken:

S

Do not subject the computer to extreme heat by placing it on
the dashboard of a vehicle with the display facing the sun.

S

Do not leave the computer in temperatures below -25° F
(-31.7° C).

S

Do not pile tools or heavy objects on top of the computer.

S

Avoid severe impacts, especially on the display glass.

S

Do not place the unit on the hood or roof of any vehicle, as it
might be left behind.

S

Do not try to take the computer apart. Special tools are re-
quired to disassemble the computer.

S

Do not use excessive force when inserting PC cards in the PC
card slots, as they may break.
