About the AdvisorOne System
The AdvisorOne system detects, controls, and informs of security and life safety
conditions in the home. AdvisorOne uses wireless technology to protect property
against and provide warning about intrusion, carbon monoxide, and fire.
AdvisorOne uses sensors that communicate alarms to the control panel using radio
waves. The security system communicates wirelessly with various types of sensors and
devices. The system relays security sensor status both visually using At-A-Glance icons
on the AdvisorOne panel and audibly with beeps and verbal chimes. Device information
regarding cameras, for example, is relayed through At-A-Glance. Application
information appears in the main folder section of the screen.
AdvisorOne is a supervised system, meaning the panel checks the status of each
sensor to detect problems. The system communicates with a central monitoring station
and sends voice messages to an offsite phone.
AdvisorOne supports up to 100 security sensors, 250 PIN access codes, and 250 key
fobs. With optional modules installed, the system can also support up to 32 IP devices,
32 Z-Wave devices
®
, and multiple mobile phones.
AdvisorOne can be controlled both locally and remotely.
• Locally via the integrated touchscreen panel. Optional Advisor TouchScreens can be
used to extend the local experience elsewhere in the building.
• Remotely via Internet-enabled devices (smartphones, tablets).
AdvisorOne can be used as a lifestyle management system.
• With the addition of a Z-Wave module and devices, the AdvisorOne system can be
used to manage thermostats, door locks, lights, and appliances.
• When connected to the Internet, the AdvisorOne panel can be used as a real-time
information hub providing content from various sources, including weather, news, traffic,
etc.
Note:
The lifestyle management features are not investigated for use by UL. Contact
the service provider for more information.
AdvisorOne can be connected to the Internet via either an Ethernet or Wi-Fi
®
connection. AdvisorOne supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
®
technology for wireless
networking to compatible devices.
• When connected to the Internet, the AdvisorOne panel acquires information for built-
in applications such as weather and news.
• Wi-Fi provides the convenience of wireless connectivity to Advisor TouchScreens
and cameras.
• The AdvisorOne panel can be configured to obtain time from the Internet.
• Via Bluetooth technology, the Advisor Mobile application can be used on a
smartphone or tablet to arm and disarm the system. Cellular communication with the
