In this section, you will learn the most common tasks to start using your Model 8602.
You will learn how to start and turn off your IP softphone, initialize your mailbox,
make and receive calls, transfer calls, retrieve voice mail messages, and much more.

Starting the Model 8602

Before you can start using your IP softphone, you need to turn it on.

Perform one of the following to start the Model 8602 application:

•

Automatically start the Model 8602 upon login to the computer (refer to the
Model 8602 Settings – Behavior in the online help on how to change this setting)

•

Double-click the Model 8602’s desktop icon

•

Click the quick-launch icon

•

Select Start – Inter-Tel –
