Parameters

Description

Internet Connection

This page displays whether the WAN port is connected to a

Cable/DSL

connection. It also displays the router’s WAN port:

WAN IP

address,

Subnet Mask

, and ISP

Gateway

as well as

the

Primary DNS

and

Secondary DNS

being used.

Note

: When the WAN port is a Dynamic IP connection, the

Release

> and <

Renew

> button will release the Broadband

router’s WAN IP address and renew will get another IP address
from the DHCP server. If the WAN port uses PPPoE, <

Release

will disconnect the PPP session, and <

Renew

> will initialize

another PPP session.
