5. Hardware 

Monitoring 

The SAI2 server board has an integrated Winbond* Heceta chip that is responsible for 
hardware monitoring. Together, the Winbond Heceta chip and the Winbond Hardware Doctor* 
software provide basic server hardware monitoring which alerts a system administrator if a 
hardware problem occurs on an Intel Server Board SAI2-based system. The Winbond 
Hardware Doctor software is for use with Windows* 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Advanced 
Server* operating systems. Below is a table of monitored headers and sensors on the SAI2 
server board.
