Summary

Closes a specified file handle.

instance that is the file handle to close.

Type

EFI_FILE

is defined in Section 10.2.

Description

The

Close()

function closes a specified file handle. All “dirty” cached file data is flushed to the

device, and the file is closed.

In all cases the handle is closed

Status Codes Returned

EFI_SUCCESS

The file was closed.
