Install the RPS
• Remove the RPS and parts from the box.
• Use the enclosed brackets if you plan to
mount the RPS in a rack.
• Use the rubber feet if you plan to mount
the RPS on a shelf.
Remove the cover
plate from the device
(Intel hub or switch)
Installation
CAUTION: Be sure the RPS is powered
OFF before you connect it to the device.
• The term device generically refers to an Intel
hub or switch.
• Remove the RPS cover plate from the device
to expose the connector underneath.
Rack: Use the small
screws to attach the
brackets to the RPS.

Remove the Redundant
Power Supply cover
plate from the device.
Connect the device to
the RPS
Connect the end
labeled “Into device” to
the hub or switch.
Connect the end labeled
“Into RPS” to the RPS.

Make sure you use the
correct DC connector
cable for your device.

Shelf: Peel off the protective
backing and attach the rubber
feet to the RPS.
Be sure the unbroken
edge is on top.
