General Information
This manual describes different versions of the INSYS ADSL 1.1 that only differ
regarding the supported ADSL specification. These devices are referred to as
INSYS ADSL 1.1 in the manual. The devices are:
INSYS ADSL 1.1A
INSYS ADSL 1.1B
If the devices are different, this will be mentioned explicitly in the respective
sections.
The INSYS ADSL 1.1A supports the ADSL specifications Annex A, Annex M, and
Annex L. The INSYS ADSL 1.1B supports the ADSL specifications Annex B and
Annex J. The specifications mainly differ regarding the used frequency ranges.
Annex B is used in Germany almost exclusively. For a parallel operation with ISDN
terminal devices, use a device that only supports Annex B, like our MoRoS ADSL
2.xB PRO. Please contact your INSYS icom sales contact in case of any further
