b) Mask Disk as Spare menu. Enter the Mask Disk as Spare menu as shown in the following
figure, the system will display the hard drive without RAID volume. Please use the space bar
to select the hard drive as Spare mode and press Enter. The system prompts “Are you sure
you want to Mask selected disks as Spare? (Y/N)”, type “Y” or “N” as prompted. Note that
when you set up a spare hard drive, all data on the hard drive will be lost.
c) Exit menu. Use the up and down keys to move to the Exit menu or press ESC key to exit
the SATA RAID configuration interface as shown in the following figure. The system prompts:
“Are you sure you want to exit? (Y/N):”, enter “Y”, it will exit, enter “N”, it will cancel the exit
operation.
