4 Press CH / to select Channel Lock, then press VOL / to
select On .
5 Turn off the TV, wait five seconds, then turn it back on. The
channel is locked off.
To view a locked channel:
• Enter the P.Guide password you have set. (See “To make
V-Chip settings:” on page 21.)
To unlock a channel:
1 Enter the P.Guide submenu, select Child Lock , then press VOL
/ to change the setting to Off . (See “To make V-Chip settings:”
on page 21.)

Enter the
Tuner submenu, select Channel Lock , then press VOL
/ to change the setting to Off . (See “To lock out a channel:” on
page 16.)
Fine tuning
You can fine-tune your TV reception if the picture or sound is not
satisfactory.
To use manual fine tuning:
1 Press MENU . The main menu opens.
2 Press CH / to select Tuner , then press VOL / to open the
Tuner menu. The Tuner menu opens.
3 Press CH / to select Fine tune, then press VOL / tune the
TV.
If you decide to use the Fine Tune function, AFT is turned off.
To use AFT ( auto frequency tuning):
1 Press MENU . The main menu opens.
2 Press CH / to select Tuner , then press VOL / to open the
Tuner menu. The Tuner menu opens.
3 Press CH / to select AFT, then press VOL / to select On .
Notes If Child Lock is set to Off , Channel Lock is not available. For
additional information on parental controls, see “To make V-Chip
settings:” on page 21.
