Wireless Security/Encryption Settings
There are seven types of wireless authentication modes to choose from: Disable , WEP
OPEN , WEP SHARED , WEP AUTO , WPA-PSK , WPA2-PSK or WPAPSK/WPA2PSK mix
mode .
The HomePlug AV Wireless N 210P-I1 has been pre-configured with WPA-PSK security
settings by default . All the user has to do is to set security settings on their wireless client(s).
The default pass phrase can be found at the back of the HomePlug AV Wireless N 210P-I1 or
on the retail box.
Security Mode: Select Disable , WEP OPEN , WEP SHARED , WEP AUTO , WPA-PSK ,
WPA2-PSK or WPAPSK/WPA2PSK mix mode . (Please refer to the section on Security
Modes on the following pages for more details).
Access Policy
Policy:
Select Disable , Allow or Reject from the drop-down menu to allow or deny the
entered MAC Address access to this AP.
Add a station MAC address:
Enter the MAC address of the wireless client in the following
format, xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx .
Note: When the Policy is selected Allow, all the MAC addresses you entered in the
Add a station MAC address field will be pass; when the Policy is selected Reject, all
the MAC addresses you entered in the Add a station MAC address field will be
blocked.
