Make sure that the carrier does not
loosen even when shaken with
enough force to rock the car.

Always set the flat washer and the spring washer to the square bolt, then securely tighten the long nut using the wrench included in this
product's package.
Due to applied screw locking agent, the bolt may resist when tightening. Regardless, tighten the bolt until the main unit is secured.
Close the upper arm.

Load capacity may vary by vehicle. Check the
loading capacity of the crossbar itself.
Do not load anything other than skis, ski poles
and snowboards.
Caution
the thickness is up to 2.0 inch (50 mm)
The upper arm has a 2 step closing
mechanism. For thick skis the arm will
click once. For thinner items like a
snowboard. The arm will click twice.
After loading ski/snowboard, lower upper arm to close securely.

Open the upper arm and load the ski /
snowboard. Slide the ski / snowboard
forward and backward until it hits the
front and rear carrier. Make sure the
ski / snowboard head and tail does not
come off from the carriers.
Do not load the skis / snowboards if
they appear to come loose from the
clamp.
When loading short ski/snowboards on to
the carrier, please check to see if the
carrier is properly adjusted for the short
ski / snowboard.
Join a pair of skis together,
then load them with their tails
facing the front of the vehicle.
Tie up grips with straps in order
to avoid hitting car roof.
Secure the straps on the
snowboard binding before loading
the snowboard facing down.

If the bindings do not fit between the front
and rear crossbars, move the snowboard
so that one of the bindings is on the front
side of the front carrier, and make sure
you do not exceed 50 mph (80 km/h)
