Installation

If the installation requires more than three indoor units, install the main air vent at the front of the
indoor unit that is farthest from the main drain.

It may be necessary to install individual air vents to prevent water flowing back to each indoor unit.
See figure below.

Testing the Drainage

After completing the installation, test the drainage to make sure there are no leaks:

1.

Operate the unit in cool mode.

2. Remove drain pump cover.

3. Squirt water into the drain pan (as shown in the next figure).

4. Confirm that the water flows out through the drain hose and that no leakage occurs at any of

the connections.

5. Reassemble the drain pump cover.
