The activation of the "laser rangefinder autofocus" feature will support the temperature-contrast-
dependent focus settings by measuring the object distance with the laser rangefinder beforehand. This is
especially helpful when high-contrast objects with different object distances are located in the centre of
the image. To use this feature, start the autofocus and then point the laser at the measurement object.

Menu item "LRF - PAF"* (Permanent LRF supported autofocus)
In order to correct the focus setting under constantly changing object distances, the function “LRF – PAF”
(permanent laser range finder supported autofocus) can be activated for distances up to 70 m. Here, the
distance of the measurement object is continuously measured by the laser range finder, and compared
with the previous distance. For distance changes more than the current range of focal depth allowed, an
automatic correction of the focus settings will be performed.

9.3.11
Menu item "Light"
In order to improve the image quality of visual recordings under poor light conditions, the LED video light
can be activated by pressing the button “Light”. Alternatively, it can also be turned on or off with the
multifunction button
(factory setting).
