TARGET MARKETS
Who would benefit from the IS 2225 and IS 2230?
1. Small Workgroups (3-10 workers)
The primary target for the IS2225 and IS 2230 is small workgroups in the General Office where the
most likely applications would be scan to e-mail, scan to folder, internet fax and basic
authentication.
2. Mid-Large Workgroups (20-100 workers)
The secondary target for the IS 2225 and IS 2230 is in the networked office where these models
can be offered as Document Solution MFPs. Typical applications would be:

Scan to Email with LDAP support

Scan to Folder (or FTP or URL or NCP)
¾ Security – Windows / LDAP Authentication
¾ Enhanced Printing
¾ Web Image Monitor
3. Large Workgroups (50-100 workers)
Another important target market for the IS 2225 and IS 2230 is in large accounts where the target
would be to replace multiple conventional faxes. These users would typically require G3, multi
ports, Internet and IP fax.
New sectors are also opened to us with the introduction of the new Data Overwrite Security (DOS)
unit. This security solution is designed to meet Government, military and major accounts’
requirements for document security and access control whilst using digital devices.
