SYSTEM CONNECTIONS & POWER-UP:

1.

Attach the included communication cable (RS-232, USB,
OR Ethernet) from the LABELASE



4000 Tag Printer to

your Windows-based PC running LabeLase



Producer



software.

2.

Connect the AC power cord to the printer and plug the
other end into a nearby power receptacle.

3.

Press the power switch to the ON position.

PRINTER COMMUNICATIONS

LL4000 series of printers requires a communication link to a PC running Producer™ software. In addition
to the standard serial RS232 link, an integrated USB/Ethernet module is provided. The LabeLase

®

Producer™ Software Installation Manual addresses Printer Communications in Sections “Connection
Type”, “RS232 Serial COM Port”, “USB Port”, and “Ethernet Network Connection”.
