Power On Procedures 

When powering on the system, please follow these steps: 

Step 1. 

Power on expansion JBODs. If a multi-enclosure configuration is applied, 

power on the expansion enclosures. 

Step 2. 

Power on the RAID system. 

To power on the system please follow the procedures below. 

  Power on by switching on the chief power switch at the back of the 

enclosure. The power switch location is indicated by the blue arrow. 

There is only one chief switch for all the PSUs!

Power on the networking devices (e.g. switches). 

Step 4.

 

Power on the host computers. 

The host computers should be the last devices that are turned on. Please refer to the 

documentation that came with your host computers to see their power on 

procedures.
