Transpector MPH Operating Manual
5.5.2 Standalone Transpector Web UI Operation
This section provides instruction for using Transpector Web UI as a standalone
software program.
5.5.2.1 Data Acquisition
The
MONITOR
window is used for data acquisition.
NOTE:
Transpector Web UI does not allow for saving data or displaying the data
in a trend graph.
Transpector Web UI is designed for data monitoring and
simple vacuum diagnostics.
When the
MONITOR
window is first opened, Transpector MPH will begin collecting
data using default parameters shown in
5.5.2.1.1 Editable Parameters
Transpector MPH has editable scan parameters that affect how data is acquired.
The editable parameters are:
Emission On/Off
. . . . . . . . . . . Turns the filament in the Transpector MPH
ion source on or off. Emission must be ON to
collect data.
EM On/Off
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Turns the EM detector (if equipped) on or off.
Turning on the EM will improve the
signal-to-noise ratio of Transpector MPH and
allow for smaller level signals to be seen
above the noise. Emission must be ON to
enable the EM to be turned on.
Min
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The starting point of the scan in AMU. For all
models, this can be as low as 0.
Max
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The ending point of the scan in AMU. The
maximum point is defined by the model:
100 AMU Transpector MPH can scan up to
100 AMU; 200 up to 200 AMU; 300 up to
300 AMU.
