Maintenance
Preventive maintenance depends on the location of the machine and on how frequently it is used.
§
The coin hopper(s) do(es) not need any type of maintenance provided that no rubbish (paper etc.) is
introduced at filling it/them.
§
The ticket dispensers require only little maintenance, depending on whether paper or plastic tickets
are used.
§
The electronic and mechanic coin meters can get slightly dirty in dusty places; this may affect the coin
admittance. Therefore, the main maintenance measure consists in cleaning the coin shafts with an
alcohol based, non-greasy and non-aggressive liquid.
§
The electronic card reader has to be cleaned quite frequently (depending on how frequently it is used)
by means of a special cleaning card to avoid interference with the transactions.
We recommend you to contact the supplier of the machine with regard to the maintenance of
banknote readers and ticket dispensers; he will inform you about a maintenance contract.
