Replace the cover so that the nameplate is on the same side as the hook [10], and press the
cover until it locks.
Place the wireless chime [1] into a suitable mains socket (230 V
50 Hz).
Press the doorbell button. The button should be lit shortly, and the wireless chime should
emit an optical and acoustical signal.
Repeatedly press the volume button [4] at the side of the wireless chime to select one of the
four volume levels.
Repeatedly press the chime selection button [3] to select one of the 24 chimes. The second
chime (after ding dong) is silent - only an optical signal is emitted.
To change the melody, the new melody has to be enrolled to each wireless chime first.
Choose the desired melody on the wireless chime, and then press and hold the volume
button for about 5 seconds, until you hear a beep and the LEDs flash quickly. Then press the
doorbell button. You have now successfully changed the melody. The chime confirms
successful enrolment with the desired melody.
The doorbell can be fixed permanently with the adhesive pad or with screws (both
supplied), horizontally or vertically. When fixing the doorbell permanently, it should be
placed on a suitable surface that is protected against direct rainfall.
Connect the wireless chime to a 230 V mains socket within the reception range of the
doorbell. The range outdoors is approx. 200 m. The range is reduced by walls and ceilings
(especially those made of reinforced concrete). Do not place the transmitter and receiver on
or in the vicinity of metal surfaces as these shield the radio signal.
Test the reliable functioning of the appliance in the desired location before installing it
permanently. Note: Background interference and atmospheric conditions which affect the
reception range can change over time.
Fix the adhesive pad to the back side of the doorbell. Remove the foil from the adhesive pad
and firmly press the doorbell to the wall for approx. 30 seconds.
Open the housing of the doorbell by levering it carefully with a screwdriver at the gap [8] at
the side of the doorbell.
Fix the back side of the housing to the wall, using the screws supplied. The back side must be
installed so that the hook [10] is on the same side as the nameplate.
Replace the cover so that the nameplate is on the same side as the hook [10], and press the
cover until it locks.
Remove the cover of the nameplate [7] from the doorbell (see fig. D).
Insert a piece of paper or foil, for example with you name written on it, under the cover.
Carefully press the cover back onto the doorbell.
The sets FD20 can be combined, also with the wireless PIR movement detector FD25. The set can
be extended by additional doorbells FD2K, motion detectors FD2B as well as wireless chimes
FD2G. Up to 8 doorbells/motion detectors can be enrolled to a wireless chime, with individual
chimes for an easy differentiation. The number of wireless chimes per doorbell/motion detector is
not limited, however the radio range must be considered.
To enroll a doorbell or a motion detector to the wireless chime:
Chose the desired chime for the transmitter by repeatedly pressing the chime selection
button [x] at the wireless chime. Press and hold the volume button [x] for approx. 5 s, until
you hear a signalling sound and the LEDs flash quickly. Move in front of the motion detector
or press the doorbell button. The enrollment is now finished. As soon as the wireless chime
has received the enrollment signal of the transmitter, it automatically leaves the enrollment
mode.
To delete all enrolled motion detectors/doorbells, press and hold the chime selection button
[x] for approx. 5 s. A “ding dong” sound is emitted for confirmation. This means that all
enrolled motion detectors/doorbells were deleted, and the chime was reset to “ding dong”.
If the LED [5] is weak, the battery must be replaced.
Open the housing of the doorbell by levering it carefully with a screwdriver at the gap [8] at
the side of the doorbell.
Loosen both screws [9] that keep the circuit board into place, and remove the circuit board.
Place a new 12 V MN21/23A alkaline battery onto the circuit board paying attention to the
polarity, and fix the circuit board with the screws.
Replace the cover so that the nameplate is on the same side as the hook [10], and press the
cover until it locks.
Check the proper condition and function regularly.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the appliance.

Questo campanello senza fili è costituito da un pulsante campanello resistente agli agenti
atmosferici con trasmettitore FD2K e da una suoneria a gong con ricevitore FD2G. Il trasmettitore
è dotato di una codifica unica, già registrata sul ricevitore. Il set può essere ampliato con altri
trasmettitori (pulsante campanello FD2K o rilevatore di movimento FD2B) e altre suonerie
FD2G. Quando attivato, il pulsante campanello invia un segnale radio alla suoneria che risponde
con una melodia selezionabile e/o un segnale lampeggiante ottico. Il pulsante campanello può
essere utilizzato sia come campanello da porta, sia come pulsante di chiamata ad es. per
persone anziane, sul bancone di un negozio o in una reception.
Il pulsante campanello è resistente agli spruzzi d'acqua (IP44) e, pertanto, adatto anche all'uso
in ambienti esterni. È alimentato da 1 batteria alcalina 12 V MN21/23A (inclusa). La suoneria
viene collegata a una presa di alimentazione di 230 V AC, 50 Hz e deve essere utilizzata
esclusivamente in ambienti interni.
Ogni altro utilizzo o modifica all'apparecchio è da ritenersi non conforme. Per conseguenze e
