Introduction
The installation of the antenna is the main problem that is presented to an
amateur radio to operate its radio station; Either at home having to carry
the coaxial cable inside the house to a clear area on roof or in the field,
placing dipoles between trees, or using reduced car antennas, etc.
Inac, aware of this, has developed a series of small antennas that can also
operate inside a building or at ground level maintaining exceptional cha-
racteristics.
The suitcase antennas are halo or loop antennas that are housed inside a
suitcase; Allowing the use of the suitcase as a clothing container and radio
equipment, with its power supply, etc., in addition to carrying the loop
and tuning capacitor of a halo antenna.
The antenna MAK-721 PRO, is a model of size called “cabin” for most
airlines, so the suitcase can go with the ham radio in the passenger area,
without having to bill the HF equipment and the Antenna / suitcase.
Its performance varies from 45 to 97% depending on the frequency of
use. Its effectiveness is equivalent to a half-wave dipole at the highest fre-
quencies.
The small size of the antenna MAK-721 PRO, allows to take it to any part
and also carrying inside all the necessary basic elements to work.
Being tightly tuned, they are more immune to intermodulation because
they are resonant circuits in a small band section.
Due to this very narrow area of tuning these antennas only operate in a
small margin so you have to adjust in each frequency of work in trans-
mission and instead in reception are wider allowing the listening without
retouching of +/- 100Khz.
