7.6.1 ESTABLISHING A CONNECTION

Before using your dABMAN BT40 as a Bluetooth loudspeaker, it is
first necessary to establish the connection to your audio source, e.g.
smart phone, tablet, PC or Mac.
1.
Please ensure the BT function is activated in your
reproducing product. Note the operating manual of the
reproducing product.
2.
Move the function switch of the dABMAN BT40 to the
Bluetooth position to start the Bluetooth mode.
„BLuETOOTH switched off“ will be shown in your display.
When this message appears, your dABMAN is in pairing
mode and a connection can be established.
CONNECTING
1.
If your dABMAN BT40 is not already connected with
another device by BT it will be in pairing mode.
2.
Open the BT menu on your reproducing device and activate
Bluetooth, also search for other BT devices.
3.
Now select “Imperial dABMAN BT40” from your list and
establish the connection.
4.
If your reproducing device requests you to enter a pass key
(depends on device), please enter „0000“ and confirm by
entering OK.
5.
As soon as the BT connection has been successfully
established, the display of the dABMAN BT40 will show
the message „Bluetooth connection successful“.
7. OPERATION
