4.  Close the lid.  Ensure you hear it lock into place.
5.  Use the on/off switch (

7

) to turn the appliance on.   A beep-signal will be heard

and the

Start

 button will light up.

6.  Push the

Start

 button once (

4

) until you hear a beep-signal.

7.  The juicing cycle will start and end automatically.  The fruit will be raised as the

juice is extracted and collected in the container under the spout.

8.  When the motor has come to a complete stop, open the lid and remove the fruit.
9.  Repeat with more fruit as needed.  You may need to clean away some buildup

between juicing cycles.

10.  After use,

make sure the motor has stopped completely,

then fold the juice

spout up and switch the appliance off.

11.  Remove the plug from the wall outlet and clean the appliance.

If the juice container (

12

) turns during operation, it is not properly locked.  If this

happens, switch the appliance off, refit the container and then continue.

Additional Operating Instructions and Tips

•

When processing larger quantities of fruit, the pulp sieve will have to be emptied

periodically

•

Ensure that the container placed under the spout does not overflow, especially

when using larger fruit (such as grapefruit).  Fold the juice spout up if the contain-

er under the spout is beginning to spill over.  However, make sure the juice con-

tainer inside the appliance does not fill up.  Have a spare container handy so the

spout can be folded back down to collect the rest of the juice.

•

If the appliance is turned on, but the motor does run after pressing Start, ensure

that the unit is plugged in and that the lid is locked into place.  Unplug the appli-

ance and reassemble it if necessary.

•

Always use fresh fruit.

•

This juicer can be used with oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and pomegranate.  Do

not use this appliance with other fruits as it may damage the appliance or cause a

safety hazard.

Reset button

If there is a power interruption, or if the appliance is blocked by

residue and the motor is overstressed, the juicer will enter a pro-

tection mode and stop running.  Clear any blockage and push

the reset button.  The appliance can be used again normally.  If

there is an excessive blockage that requires disassembly, turn off

and unplug the appliance, then follow the cleaning instructions.
