CLEANING BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Unpack the appliance.
•
Remove any inserts or adhesive labels from the product.
•
Wash the plates (5) and (6) with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
•
Clean the body with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
•
Dry with a dry cloth.
•
Unwind the mains cable with the plug (9) completely before using it.
•
When used for the first time, the sandwich toaster may emit some smoke or smell due
to possible manufacturing residue. Wait a few minutes before inserting the food.
OPERATION
•
Insert the mains cable with plug (9) into the socket. The mains LED (1) will light up.
•
The ready for use LED (2) lights up when the appliance reaches the operating
temperature.
•
Open the hook that closes the plates (3) [Fig. B].
•
Open the plates (5) and (6) from the handle (5) [Fig. C].
•
Place the food on the lower plate (6) [Fig. D].
•
Close the upper plate (5) from the handle (4) [Fig. C].
USE
ATTENTION!
Do NOT touch the plates and the outer surfaces during operation.
NEVER place the sandwich toaster on paper/cardboard or plastic
surfaces. Place the sandwich toaster on a flat and smooth surface.
ATTENTION!
Pay attention not to scratch the non-stick coating when removing the
food.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Disconnect the mains cable with plug (9) from the socket.
•
Let the sandwich toaster cool down completely.
•
Clean the plates (5) and (6) with a damp sponge.
•
Clean the outer part of the sandwich toaster with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
•
Dry with a dry cloth.
•
Use the closing hook of the plates (3) to store the sandwich toaster upright [Fig. D].
Do not use abrasive sponges or sharp tools, which could ruin the non-stick
coating.
